The purpose of teacher blogs is to inform students and their families of day-to-day learning and activities throughout the school year.  We will continue to communicate learning opportunities and will provide links to online learning resources through these blogs. 

Important information related to all school decisions will continue to be emailed to parents/guardians and can also be found on the CBE website (www.cbe.ab.ca).

March 16th Virus Edition

Hello Everyone,

You should try to remain active everyday for at least 60 minutes. 
Some simple ideas for fitness:
-pushups
-situps
-planks
-squats
-jumping jacks
-burpees
-stretching/yoga
-wrestling with siblings
-walking/running
-dancing
-anything that uses hand-eye coordination (catching, throwing, striking, not counting video games lol)
-etc.

Basketball/Badminton

Basketball season is coming to it's conclusion, and there is lots to celebrate.  Players have sacrificed time and sweat and improved a tremendous amount. 
Before we know it badminton season will be upon us. Good luck to all the participants in the intramural tournament, what a great way to practice your skills before tryouts begin.

Happenings

Congrats to all the Wrestlers for their hard work, it paid off with a successful meet at the Genesis Center.  Also congrats to the players who made basketball teams and good luck with your first couple games.

Starting Monday is Week 2 of our modules, don't forget to check what you are signed up for.
